Letter of intent due April 10, 2019

The Northeast Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (NE SARE) program, Managed out of the University of Vermont has released it's annual Graduate Student Fellowship funding announcement.

The NE SARE Graduate Student Grant program funds graduate student research projects that address issues of current or potential importance to Northeast farmers. This is an excellent opportunity to better acquaint students with the grant-making process, equipping them with valuable skills as future researchers and educators. The funding cap per project is $15,000. Proposals are due online by 5 p.m. ET on May 7; for more information, see:

If you plan to submit an application to this program please confer with your faculty mentor and complete the Notice of Intent from the OGC Web site no later than April 10th. The OGC will notify you of the proposal preparation workshop for this program to be held the following week. You are expected to participate.
