County office closures due to weather:
All delays and closures for Penn State Extension county offices will be posted on Extension's internal website.
Extension staff based at University Park follow University closure decisions. University Park delays and closures will not be posted on the Penn State Extension Weather Notifications page. County office staff will not receive individual emails alerting staff to delays and closures. The weather notification webpage is the official source for delay and closure announcements. Delays and closure decisions are made and posted as early as possible. It is important for employees to check the weather announcement webpage before traveling or beginning work when inclement weather is expected. All employees are encouraged to take responsibility for their own safety. Individuals should use their own best judgment when considering traveling to work or the need to leave early during times of inclement weather.
