Check out the full schedule of events that are part of Global Entrepreneurship Week at Penn State (GE Week).

The Entrepreneurship & Innovation Program at the College of Agricultural Sciences, a proud sponsor of GE Week at Penn State, is also hosting a number of events.

The 1000Pitches Final Judging and Award Ceremony on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2-6 p.m. is one of the kick off events. Winners pitches will be named in each of the pitch categories. Nine students will receive a $1,000 award! Ag Sciences students helped Penn State reach 1081 pitches — an idea to solve a problem on or off campus — in the 1000 Pitches contest, and offered great ideas.

We’ll celebrate the pitches from Ag Sciences students Wednesday at the Ag 300 Celebration Luncheon – 11:30 – 1:30, Forest Resources Building Lobby. All Ag Sciences students who submitted a pitch to the 1000 Pitches contest will receive an Ag 300 beanie cap — so come on by for free lunch and to pick up your beanie!

Drop by 6 Armsby on Thursday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. for the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Program Open House. We’ll talk about how to get started on your ideas — and share snacks and coffee.

Listen to Joe Yodock’s entrepreneurial story of growing a company to success despite adversity. The Yodock Wall Company pioneered the water-filled barrier industry about 30 years ago. Yodock speaks Thurs., Nov. 20, 2:30 – 3:45 p.m. at 108 Wartnik, as the guest speaker in Management 215 Entrepreneurial Mindset.
