Skip Rosskam is President & Chief Operating Officer of David Michael & Co., a 117-year-old privately held global flavors company. He is directly responsible for R&D, the international operating companies, marketing and strategic business development.

Skip graduated from Southern Illinois University, worked for Global CPG companies in brand management, marketing & management before joining David Michael & Co. in 1978.

He served on the Board of Governors of the Flavor and Extract Manufacturers Association (FEMA) for 12 years and was both their Treasurer and President, on the International Organization of the Flavor Industry (IOFI) Board as Treasurer & also on the Institute of Food Technologists Foundation Board. Last year he was recognized as an IFT Fellow, thus becoming the first non-scientist or academic recognized with this award.

He has been active at Penn State University, teaching for the past 26 years in the annual Ice Cream Short Course, providing 81 scholarships for graduate students through an endowment in his father's name and worked on the fundraising committee to build the new food science building.

On a personal level, Skip enjoys reading suspense and mystery books, golf, skiing, snowshoeing, his family and two "grand dogs."
