Rosemary Nicholson is a senior at Penn State majoring in BioRenewable Systems, BioProducts option.

In addition to her major, she is a Schreyer's Honors scholar and has minors in Environmental Resource Management and Entrepreneurship & Innovation. She is a 2016 Ag SpringBoard Finalist where she worked on a project known as RED which worked to recycle polystyrene in the form of traditional party cups and turn them into closed loop lifestyle products. In addition to this, she studied abroad last spring with the School for Field studies investigating sustainable development in Costa Rica, she grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is an avid runner, and actively involved in planning and fundraising with THON.
