Hello! My name is Sierra Weaver, and I am a sophomore majoring in Agricultural Science. I am minoring in Agricultural Business Management, Leadership and Development, and Food Systems! I am originally from York, PA, and grew up on my family-owned horse boarding facility. Here at Penn State, I am a Poultry Education Research Center part-time worker and live in, and last year I also worked at Penn State's horse barns. I am actively involved in Block and Bridle, Delta Theta Sigma, and Penn State's Equine Research Team, and plan to start attending Poultry Science meetings! ! This summer, I interned at Witmer’s Feed and Grain in Columbiana, OH, and had the opportunity to work with a great team to help local dairy farmers evaluate their herd growth. I am not quite sure what I want to pursue as a career yet, although I am sure that I love the agricultural industry, business management, and helping others (humans and animals)! I am super excited to be an Ag. Advocate this year and can’t wait to help guide students to their future in agriculture! Please feel free to reach out to me at any time! I would be glad to help, and I have plenty of helpful hints while transitioning from home to college! 😊

Fun Fact: I could eat any ice cream any time of the day, but my favorite Creamery ice cream flavor is the White Out!
