  • Keith has training in church music, organ performance, music education, philosophy, educational psychology, and graphic design. He obtained a private pilot's license in 1994 and completed a paragliding certification course in 1998.

Keith Diehl is a graphic designer with the College's creative services team, producing educational and marketing materials for Penn State Extension educators and college faculty which are made available through Penn State's land grant mission to the citizens of the Commonwealth and others who may have questions or need help with their agricultural-related problems. Having worked in the industry for more than 40 years, Keith brings this experience into how he solves problems and how he works with colleagues, clients, and vendors. Away from the office, Keith enjoys cooking, reading, music, primitive camping and hiking, miniature schnauzers, roasting and drinking coffee, and playing the pipe organ for his own enjoyment and in service to local religious groups looking for a Sunday morning organist substitute.

Before joining the creative services team in Agricultural Sciences, Keith was the designer and art director for the Texas Bar Journal, the official publication of record for the State Bar of Texas and the Texas Supreme Court in Austin, Texas, where he very much enjoyed—and misses greatly—the barbecue.
