Education

  • Originally, Jeffrey is from Beaver County, PA, where he received his bachelor’s degree from Geneva College. He moved to Virginia where he received his master’s degree from Radford University and completed his doctoral work at Liberty University.

Jeffrey Bradshaw is an Instructional Designer 3 at Penn State where he utilizes 10 years of instructional design experience to:

  • Integrate several related client needs to develop appropriate strategies for implementing information technology across a broad range of academic programs and initiatives
  • Lead projects related to the development of credit courses for the College of Agricultural Sciences
  • Provide consultation to faculty and staff in the design and structure of instructional solutions for active and collaborative, computer-mediated, and distributed learning
  • Define, implement, and coordinate faculty project activities through presentations
  • Create learning resources and related documentation as dictated by course design
  • Encourage, initiate, and/or conduct learning theory research to further knowledge of the field of instructional design
  • Provide advice and guidance in the design of systems, concepts, and solutions, including outcomes and assessment
  • Utilize statistical applications as needed to support program or course design and development
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop appropriate evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of computer-based instruction in the curriculum
  • Act as liaison with University organizations, committees, and task forces that promote instructional design, learning theory, and technologies innovations
  • Design and conduct training workshops in instructional design strategies for faculty and students
  • Provide mentoring to other staff

His accomplishments include:

Faculty, multimedia specialists, and other instructional designers will benefit from his work. His experience also includes working at Liberty University as an instructional designer. Jeffrey enjoys teaching a course for First Time Fathers and volunteering for the Out of the Cold organization.
