Hello, I'm Darlene Resh, a farm girl at heart, an Adams County resident, a 4-H alumnus, a 1985 International

4-H Youth Exchange delegate to Norway, and currently an Extension Agent working with the 4-H & Youth Development program.

I'm a 1976 graduate of the Bermudian Springs High School, 1996 graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College with an Associate Degree in Business Administration, and a 1999 graduate of Eastern University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Organizational Management.

As an extension professional, I educate youth and adults in a variety of delivery methods and subject areas. I conduct educational workshops on poultry, safety, shooting sports, recreational leadership, team building, leadership development, leisure education, and embryology, just to name a few. Each and everyday is a new learning experience. I enjoy the opportunity to "make a difference in a child or adults life" through my profession. Event coordination and management is another part of my job. I pride myself on my organizational skills. I work to keep my job enjoyable and not have the job manage my life. Staying on top of details and planning is high priority to get the job done and to make a difference.

I'm a member of Pennsylvania IFYE Association and National IFYE Association, Pennsylvania Association of Extension 4-H Agents and National Association of Extension 4-H Agents, National Rifle Association Training Counselor, National Rifle Association Pistol, Shotgun, & Rifle Instructor, and 4-H Shooting Sports Instructor.
