I chose Penn State and the College of Agricultural Sciences because of the vast amount of opportunities Penn State provides in relation to agriculture and because of my family's involvement with Penn State. I am a fifth generation Penn Stater with a background in dairy agriculture. Because of my passion for agriculture and my desire to learn through hands-on experiences, Penn State has always been at the top of my list. There are so many clubs and organizations to be a part of that I am able to pursue any and all interests of mine. From my time as President of Alpha Zeta building connections with fellow peers to my time in the Dairy Science Club where we got to explore the Netherlands, I have been able to make so many great memories. The kind of memories that will last a lifetime and ones that only Penn State can offer.

Favorite Penn State Activity:
My favorite memory so far has been my international trip to Switzerland where we got to experience the Swiss culture, see the beautiful landscape, and compare the agriculture in Switzerland to agriculture in the U.S. This trip was a part of an embedded course offered through the Animal Science Department and it allowed a select few students to study abroad without the semester long commitment. Also, along the way I got to meet and build relationships with some of the most amazing people. People that I now call friends and continue to keep in touch with to this day.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be a consultant within agriculture working directly with either farm operations or agricultural-based businesses.

Proudest Achievement in life so far:
My proudest moment so far has been to be accepted into the Schreyer Honors College.

Weightlifting, Investing, Sports (IM sports)

If you could be an animal, what would you be and why?
I would want to be an eagle so that I could fly wherever I want and see for miles and miles while flying through the air.

Dream Vacation Spot:
On the hills of Geneva, Switzerland overlooking the rows and rows of vineyards and overlooking the crisp clear water of Lake Geneva.
