Cyndi is the state program coordinator for Penn State Extension’s Nutrition Links program. Nutrition Links is federally funded by the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) and Supplemental Nutrition Education Assistance Program Education (SNAP-Ed) to provide nutrition education to Pennsylvania residents with limited incomes. Nutrition Links reaches eligible audiences across the lifespan. Cyndi provides administrative oversight to 70 nutrition educators, comprised of professionals and paraprofessionals, in fulfilling the requirements and delivery of the federal programs. She has fiscal responsibility for annual budgets totaling over 3.5 million annual allocations. 

Cyndi serves as an interim supervisor for Penn State Extension Nutrition Links in Lower Bucks, Fayette, Philadelphia, Somerset, Washington, and Westmoreland Counties.

She also served as an educator, providing Mental Health First Aid, Communicating with Farmers Under Stress, and Weathering the Storm programming within the Food, Families, and Community Unit from 2019-2023. 

Before joining Penn State Extension in 2017, Cyndi worked at Head Start of Fayette County, UPMC Western Psychiatric, and with several school garden and youth training programs, including programs from the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh and Grow Pittsburgh.
