Amber has worked for Penn State Extension since 2005. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University in Animal Bioscience and a Master’s of Education degree focusing on Extension Education from Oklahoma State University.


As an Extension Educator, her programs focused on improving dairy management to make dairy producers more profitable and productive. Her interests are herd health, reproductive efficiency, and milk quality/udder health.


Amber was appointed Assistant Director of Animal Systems programs in 2022. In this role, she strives to empower extension educators to develop and deliver relevant programming to improve the sustainability of the Pennsylvania animal agriculture industry.
