Marketing Strategy

Marketing Strategy team is responsible for consulting with clients to develop data-driven marketing strategies, which includes managing the planning and oversight of strategic marketing campaigns encompassing print and electronic communications, public relations, and other channels to reach defined business objectives.

Our team works closely with clients to understand business needs to develop a comprehensive plan to meet client goals.  The Marketing Strategy team will identify and bring together the necessary resources and expertise within the entire Ag Marketing and Communications unit to develop and implement strategies, while also serving as the primary contact for the client.  The role of the Marketing Strategy team may vary depending on client or project.

Extension Focus

Marketing Strategy Specialists assigned to Extension clients work closely with program teams to build portfolio of strategic, well-defined, and sought after products and services. This includes management of the Program Development Process (PDP), which includes understanding customer needs, defining the product line, outlining clear value propositions, and determine profitable delivery methods while evaluating and prioritizing new and current products.
