This page will explain how to log in and edit your Extension directory information.

Finding Your Directory Entry

You have permissions to edit your directory entry within the Penn State Extension Content Management System (CMS) website. If you don't have an entry, please contact and they can create one for you.

First, go to the Extension CMS website. You may need to log in through the Penn State Web Access Authentication.

From here, click on your name in the top right of the site, and then on My Profile:

Updating Your Information

In the green bar above your profile click "Edit" to start the process of updating your information.

Edit Button

You will be presented with an edit screen with the following tabs, containing the fields listed.

Default

  • First Name
  • Middle Name
  • Last Name
  • Suffix (Ph.D., etc.)

Contact Information

  • E-mail Address
  • Venue/Building Name
  • Street Address
  • City
  • State
  • ZIP Code
  • Phone Number
  • Fax Number

Professional Information

  • Job Titles
  • Biography
  • Education
  • Areas of Expertise
  • County/Location: This is your primary location, not a coverage area.

Social Media

  • Twitter URL
  • Facebook URL
  • LinkedIn URL
  • Google+ URL

Categorization - Choosing Your 'Experts' Areas

  • Select the relevant Category Level 1 and 2. Setting these values make you show up as an expert in these areas.

Once you have added/edited your information. Click the Save button at the bottom of the form.

Profile Photos

Profile photographs must taken by the College photographer, properly sized and added by site administrators. Submit a Communications Support Request to request a profile picture be taken.
