If an event is canceled, you can configure it to display a message in event listings and on the event itself. This applies to events listed on the College and Department websites.

To cancel an event:

  • Edit the event
  • Check the This event has been canceled checkbox (below the event body text.)
  • Add Event Cancellation Information (e.g. a reason, rescheduling information, etc.)
  • Save the event

For canceled events, an "Event Canceled" message will show up in the event listing. The event itself will also show an "Event Canceled" message, with the additional information you provided. In both cases, the date/location information is overstruck and grayed out.
