The Penn State Berkey Creamery's official mark is a Tier 2 University shield mark. This mark is to be used on all official communications, marketing collateral, and educational materials. Details and examples are provided on the following pages and feature both proper and improper usage.

Berkey Creamery Shield

This mark is part of the University's overall brand structure and must follow the Tier 2 guidelines outlined by the University. The two-color and black-and-white shield marks shown here are the preferred versions.

Guidelines from University Strategic Communications

The Berkey Creamery shield mark must appear on product packaging and on merchandise for internal use and external sale unless space prohibits. Exceptions must be approved by the College of Ag Sciences Marketing unit.

The Berkey Creamery shield mark must be the exclusive mark on signage, marketing, and official communications.

Never redraw, re-create, or modify the Berkey Creamery shield mark in any way. Only authorized artwork may be used.

Minimum size of shield within mark: 0.3 inch.
