New Solar System at Ag Progress Days

Paradise Energy Solutions will debut the first permanent solar installation at this year’s Ag Progress Days. The 2.65 kilowatt ground mount solar system, which consists of 10 solar panels and one inverter, will be will installed at Paradise Energy Solutions’ booth located on West 9th Street.

The solar system will be actively producing electricity at the show and is estimated to produce 3,298 kilowatt-hours per year. The yearly production is equivalent to powering 30 percent of the average annual usage of a home in the United States.

Agricultural solar installations have become extremely popular in the past several years, as solar installations can provide benefits such as depreciation and a federal tax credit.
