Two College of Agricultural Sciences Alumni Elected to Alumni Council

Roxanne (Hoffman) Shiels '90 ERM, '93g Forest Resources and Sharon Stringer '78 Com, '96g Ag Edu, '99g Ag Ext Edu were recently elected to the Penn State Alumni Association's governing body.

Alumni Council is an all-volunteer organization that shapes and influences the policies and direction of the Alumni Association. Shiels is the Associate Director of Strategy, Planning, and Faculty/Student Engagement with the Office of the Vice President for Outreach at Penn State. Stringer is an Associate Professor at Lock Haven University teaching journalism. They will begin their three-year terms on July 1 and running until June 30, 2015.

Shiels and Stringer join several College of Agricultural Sciences alumni on the Alumni Council board of directors:
