Kevin Stough

The AEC is delighted to welcome on board, Kevin Stough for the Spring 2016 semester. Kevin is a senior majoring in Environmental Resource Management with a focus on the water option. He is also pursuing minors in Forest Science and Environmental Engineering. Kevin brings with him a strong conservation background having grown up on a 65 acre farm in southern York County. This farm has turned into a model for conservation practices having the majority of the acreage enrolled in CRP and CREP. The last remaining acreage currently in agricultural production has been enrolled in CREP as well and is set to be converted to warm season grasses and shrubs this spring.

Kevin also has experience in the private sector with a design/build environmental consulting company. Based out of southern York County, Aquatic Resource Restoration Company (ARRC) specializes in stream restoration, wetland mitigation/restoration, and stormwater management. The past two summers Kevin has gained experience in wetland mitigation in the natural gas industry, he has been involved in stream restoration projects of his home watershed, the Codorus Creek, and he has worked on residential stormwater management projects. With this experience and knowledge Kevin will be a great asset to the AEC staff.
