Engagement Access Awards

These awards are designed to reduce barriers to participation in enriching academic and extracurricular opportunities. By offering flexible, responsive support, the program promotes access to experiences that foster learning, personal growth, and preparation for future career pathways.

Overview

The Engagement Access Awards are available on a rolling basis throughout the academic year and are reviewed and granted monthly. Qualified applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis until that month's funding is fully allocated.

Awards range from $50 to $200 and are intended to help undergraduate students participate in academic and career-enriching opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach due to cost. Eligible expenses may include course- or program-related materials, student organization activities, conference fees, travel for academic purposes, and other professional development opportunities. Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for an Engagement Access Award, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• The expense must be clearly related to academic success or career readiness.
• Applicants must submit a brief statement (no more than 200 words) explaining how the expense will support their academic progress or professional goals.
• Consideration will be given to students with demonstrated financial constraints, as indicated by institutional financial aid data.
