Spanish for the Agricultural Sciences
With an increase in Spanish speakers in the agricultural workforce, professionals who can work with native speakers of Spanish are in demand. Gain global experience as you learn industry-specific language skills to further your career.
Immersion Experience in Costa Rica
See waterfalls, tropical creatures, rainforests, and volcanoes as you use your Spanish language skills in a native speaking environment on the four-week cultural immersion experience in Costa Rica.
Students attend Spanish language classes at a Costa Rican language school and stay with host families to experience local culture. Students will also participate in cultural activities outside the classroom, including agricultural site visits, weekend trips, community service, and national park tours.
The four-week immersion experience begins in early May, so students return home with enough time to start summer internships or jobs.
