Spanish for the Agricultural Sciences
Spanish for Students in the Field of Agricultural Sciences is a three-course sequence developed for students whose future involves working in management positions in agricultural industries such as mushroom production, landscaping, dairy, animal sciences, poultry, horticulture, food science, and forestry, to name a few.
- SPAN 105: First course of the three-course sequence
developed primarily for students who have had little to no prior experience
studying Spanish as a foreign language.
- SPAN 106: Prerequisite: SPAN 105 or placement exam
arranged and administered by course instructor.
- SPAN 197B: Prerequisite: SPAN 105 and/or SPAN 106. This course includes a three-week immersion experience at the end of spring semester. During the immersion experience, students live with Mexican families while they study and experience the language, culture, and agricultural industries of Mexico.
