Consideration for this scholarship is with the intent to provide financial support to undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have a demonstrated financial need. From the identified pool of eligible recipients, and to the extent possible, first preference shall be given to students who are majoring in or planning to major in Turfgrass Science, or successor degree program. If no students meet the first preference in a given year, available funds will be awarded to any student based on the general eligibility criteria, regardless of preference. ** DOCUMENTED FINANCIAL NEED REQUIRED

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in any major in the Department of Plant Science in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have achieved positive academic records or manifest promise of academic success.

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduates majoring in Horticulture who have maintained an above-average academic standing and have documented financial need. First preference will be given to students from Chester County, second to those from Delaware County, and third to those residing in Bucks, Montgomery, or Philadelphia County. Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Department of Plant Science in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have achieved superior academic records or manifest promise of outstanding success. Preference shall be given to students studying in the area of pomology.
