Toxicology

This scholarship is with the intent to provide financial support to undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have a demonstrated financial need. First preference shall be given to students who are majoring in or planning to major in Toxicology, or successor degree program. If no students meet the first preference in a given year, available funds will be awarded to any student based on the general eligibility criteria, regardless of preference. **DOCUMENTED FINANCIAL NEED REQUIRED.

Consideration shall be given to all full-time and part-time senior students graduating from the College of Agricultural Sciences who have achieved superior academic records and have been accepted to an accredited school of veterinary medicine. Endowed in memory of Dr. Marvin A. Jaffe.

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full time undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Agricultural Science at the Pennsylvania State University who are residents of Pennsylvania who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success and who have demonstrated financial need. First preference shall be for undergraduates interested in applying to Vet school. Second preference shall be for undergraduates interested in applying to Graduate school. ** DOCUMENTED FINANCIAL NEED REQUIRED

This award shall be made to full-time undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have been admitted to or now attend an accredited school of veterinary medicine. Selection will be made on the basis of financial need, moral integrity, scholastic excellence, and professional promise. Endowed by the family of Howard W. Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have a demonstrated financial need. The Office of Student Aid is responsible for identifying the eligible pool of students. First preference shall be given to students from the eligible pool who are majoring in Toxicology in the Department of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences in the College of Agricultural Sciences. If no students meet the first preference in a given year, funds will be awarded to any student in the College of Agricultural Sciences eligibility pool, regardless of preference. ** DOCUMENTED FINANCIAL NEED REQUIRED

Consideration shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences who are applying for admission to an accredited school of veterinary medicine and have exhibited outstanding scholarship and participation in University activities. Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to full-time undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences who are majoring in Animal Science, or successor degree program, or any degree program in the Department of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences, or successor department, who are following a pre-veterinary program, and whose home address of residence is in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (the "General Eligibility Criteria"). From the identified pool of eligible recipients, and to the extent possible, preference shall be given to eligible recipients in the following order: First preference shall be given to students who have been accepted into the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Second preference shall be given to students who have been accepted into an accredited school of veterinary medicine. If no students meet the stated preferences in a given year or if there are sufficient funds to award additional scholarships beyond the eligible recipients who meet the stated preferences, available funds will be awarded to any student based on the General Eligibility Criteria, regardless of preference.
