Consideration for this scholarship shall be given with the intent to provide financial support to undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have a demonstrated financial need. First preference shall be given to students enrolled in the Horticulture option within the College of Agricultural Sciences who have a demonstrated financial need. ** DOCUMENTED FINANCIAL NEED REQUIRED

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students who have a demonstrated interest in and/or who are studying Horticulture in the College of Agricultural Sciences at the University Park campus who have achieved superior academic records or manifest promise of outstanding academic success. First preference shall be given to full-time undergraduate students who meet the above-mentioned criteria, have selected the production option under the Horticulture major, and have a grade-point average of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale. ** DOCUMENTED FINANCIAL NEED REQUIRED

Consideration shall be given to all full-time undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled or planning to enroll in the Department of Plant Science and have achieved superior academic records or show promise of academic success. Consideration shall be given to all full-time undergraduate and graduate students, including international students and noncitizens, who are enrolled or planning to enroll in the Department of Plant Science and have achieved superior academic records or show promise of outstanding academic success. Consideration shall support students who demonstrate an interest in or who are studying Horticulture as determined by the appropriate individual and/or committee appointed by the administrative officer in the respective academic unit of the University.

Consideration for this award shall be given to all undergraduate students majoring in Horticulture in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have a demonstrated excellence though their participation in the annual Penn State Horticulture show and who are majoring in Plant Science with the Horticulture option, or successor degree program, or have demonstrated an interest in horitculture.

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time graduate and undergraduate students pursuing a degree in Plant Science, or successor degree program(s) in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University. First preference shall be given to students from the eligible pool whose home address of record is in York County, Pennsylvania and who are enrolled in the Horticulture option or who have a demonstrated interest in Horticulture. If no students meet the first preference in a given year, available funds will be aarded to any student based on the general eligibility criteria, regardless of preference.

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Department of Plant Science in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have achieved superior academic records or manifest promise of outstanding academic success. First preference shall be given to students studying pomology or olericulture.

Consideration shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students who have a financial need. First preference shall be given to students who are enrolled in the Crop Production option as offered by the Department of Plant Science, or successor department, who are, to the extent permitted by law, citizens of the United States. This scholarship is available to all undergraduate students currently enrolled or planning to enroll in a degree program offered by the Department of Plant Science or the Department of Ecosystem Science and Management (or any successor departments) in the College of Agricultural Sciences, or who are enrolled or planning to enroll in the Environmental Resource Management major with the Soil Science option and who have demonstrated interest in Soil Science, Agronomy or Turfgrass Science.

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in any major in the Department of Plant Science in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have achieved positive academic records or manifest promise of academic success.

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduates majoring in Horticulture who have maintained an above-average academic standing and have documented financial need. First preference will be given to students from Chester County, second to those from Delaware County, and third to those residing in Bucks, Montgomery, or Philadelphia County. Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Department of Plant Science in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have an interest in ornamental horticulture and have achieved superior academic records or manifest promise of outstanding academic success. Preference shall be given to students from Schuylkill County.

This scholarship shall be awarded to full-time undergraduate students enrolled in Horticulture who have at least third-semester standing.
