Spring Commencement / Graduation

The College of Agricultural Sciences Spring 2012 Commencement will be held on Saturday, May 5th, at 9:00 AM in the Eisenhower Auditorium.

Speaker

James Shirk ’93, Northeast territory business manager, CEVA Biomune.
Shirk graduated in 1993 with a bachelor’s degree in environmental resource management. He manages poultry vaccine sales in the northeast United States for CEVA Biomune as the Northeast territory business manager. Shirk, his wife, Stephanie, and his three children are the ninth generation to live on their family farm in Lancaster County, Pa.

Instructions for Graduates

Graduates are to arrive in academic regalia at the front lobby of Eisenhower Auditorium no later than 8:15 a.m. to register for the 9:00 a.m. ceremony.
Academic regalia (cap and gown) can be purchased at either the Penn State Bookstore (HUB) or the Student Bookstore (downtown).
We expect a capacity audience due to our growing student numbers. While no tickets are required, we ask that you use good judgment so that families of all graduates can participate.

Graduates with Disabilities
Penn State encourages graduates with disabilities to participate in its commencement ceremonies. General Guest Seating and Parking Information
General complimentary parking is available in the Eisenhower Parking Deck, located directly behind the auditorium. Reserved seat tickets are not needed for our commencement ceremony.

Spring Graduation Brunch

The Spring Graduation Brunch will be held immediately following the Commencement Ceremonies in Gym 1 of the Intramural Building. You must register online to attend.
