Students for Cultivating Change will host Monsanto representatives on April 19th in 134 HUB for two distinct discussion panels.

Students for Cultivating Change is proud to partner with Monsanto for the PSU LGBTQA+ Student Resource Center's Pride Month.

  • 4:30 pm - Monsanto representatives will discuss the company's sustainability efforts - especially their recent partnership with Farmers for Monarchs - and student opportunities with their company.
  • 7:30 pm - the representatives will come back for a second discussion about the company's efforts in LGBTQIA inclusion, with emphasis placed on their Encompass network.

Encompass is a Monsanto business resource network that focuses on developing and leveraging the talents of its lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual (LGBTQIA) employees, as well as the talents of their allies. Membership in Encompass is open to all Monsanto employees. Encompass provides an environment of learning, sharing, and communication that can assist Monsanto in achieving excellence through an inclusive and diverse workplace. Example activities include Reverse Mentoring and Ally Engagement, Volunteering and Community Outreach, External Advocacy, Pride Festivals, and Remote Site Engagement.
