Let’s make sustainable living a part of the Penn State experience with the EcoChallenge.

The Sustainability Institute at Penn State is piloting a new program called EcoChallenge! This is a great way to choose actions to reduce your impact. You pick your own challenge and set a goal that stretches your comfort zone and makes a difference for you, your community, and the planet. Challenges encompass a variety of eco-issues such as waste, food, health, transportation, energy, water, and nature, and range in difficulty. For example, one challenge could be using a reusable water bottle each day, while another challenge could be biking to work. This event takes place from October 11th-25th. Each day you complete a challenge, you receive points for yourself and for Penn State's team! Penn State is hoping to have the largest team across the U.S., and we are already ranked 3rd out of 256 teams.

It's free to participate and you can change the EcoChallenge website into an app to send you reminders to complete your daily challenges.

Sign up here. The link will send you directly to our team, and you will receive 10 points just for signing up! Please invite anyone you know to join the challenge! Anyone with a PSU affiliation (i.e. sibling, parent, friend, alumni, etc.) can join! Every little bit counts to showcase Penn State's commitment to sustainability. WE ARE!
