Passion for Agriculture? Delta Theta Sigma Recruitment

Posted: December 9, 2016

Do you have a passion for the scientific advancement of agriculture? If you answered yes, then we are looking for you to join Delta Theta Sigma, a national social-professional agriculture fraternity.

Delta Theta Sigma (DTS) is a social-professional agricultural fraternity composed of men and women from elite agriculture majors from across the country. Members of DTS share many common interests such as the outdoors, love of animals, and an overall passion for agriculture in general. DTS provides its members with many things such as scholarship, networking, and a home away from home.

Scholarship - The Brotherhood is composed of a variety of students in majors offered through the College of Agricultural Sciences, as well as other related majors. There are numerous scholarships offered through the college which benefit DTS members solely, due to the strong support network of our successful alumni.

Networking - It's a competitive marketplace and that's why you need DTS. Our alumni are entrepreneurs, captains of industry and a virtual "Who's Who" of the global bio-ag industry. As a DTS member you are in good company and we have a history of helping each other succeed. Distinguished alumni include Art Nesbitt (former CEO of NASCO), Earl Harbaugh (CEO of Ditch Witch Midwest), and Russell Redding (current PA Secretary of Agriculture).

A home away from home - Our fraternity house is like your home away from home. As opposed to a dorm room or an apartment, our house actually feels like "home".

If you are interested in becoming a member please contact recruitment chair, Greg Kowalewski at or stop down at the house located at 101 North Patterson Street. The DTS Active site can be found here: sites.psu.edu/dtsbeta/
