Upcoming Environmental Education Curriculum classes for Spring 2015. Each class is worth .5 credits, involves a follow-up take home assignment and one day of hands on activities.

Below is information on our upcoming Environmental Education Curriculum classes for Spring 2015. Each class is worth .5 credits, involves a follow-up take home assignment and one day of hands-on activities from the curriculum guides - taught in a way that emphasizes how to:

  • teach these activities,
  • see the contextual fit of the subject areas within environmental education, in both formal and non-formal settings, and
  • adapt the activities to diverse audiences and professions.

 

All classes will be held at Shaver’s Creek. The flyers describing our offerings for Spring 2015, found in the Events section, are ready to duplicate and distribute as you see fit:

  • “PA Songbirds” Project WILD supplement focusing on PA Birds March 29, 2015 
  • “Project Learning Tree” Forestry related EE activities April 25, 2015
