INTAG 499B: Sustainable Agriculture and Development in Brazil will explore critical issues in agriculture, biodiversity, and development in southern Brazil and relate these to the situation in the US.

INTAG 499B: Sustainable Agriculture and Development in Brazil will explore critical issues in agriculture, biodiversity, and development in southern Brazil and relate these to the situation in the US. In addition to discussing the dynamics underpinning different agricultural systems, we will also examine these systems from a holistic perspective by considering social, economic, and political factors surrounding Brazilian agriculture and development today. We will also introduce the diverse cultural and historic dynamics that shape the “Brazilian experience”. Interested in learning more?
