The Penn State Coaly Society is an honor society for students who exemplify leadership excellence in extracurricular activities within the College of Agricultural Sciences. We are now accepting applications for membership - deadline April 24 at 3:00 p.m.

The Penn State Coaly Honor Society is currently accepting applications. Coaly members are students who are dedicated to the College of Agricultural Sciences and are actively involved in college organizations. The Coaly Society activities include conducting the Guldin Speaking Contest and selecting our college’s Outstanding Senior. Selection of new Coaly Society members is mainly based on leadership positions (offices or committee chairs) in Ag Hill activities. Other activities, such as judging teams are also considered.

To be eligible, you must be a member of at least one club, which is sponsored by the College of Agricultural Sciences, and you must have completed one full semester at the University Park campus. Applicants from every major in the College of Agriculture are welcomed. Although applicants must have an overall grade point average of 2.5 or higher, the primary criterion used for selection is leadership in College of Ag Sciences student clubs. Please note, freshmen are not eligible for membership.

Applications can be picked up in 101 Ag Administration Building or by emailing Corissa Steimling at cas5792@psu.edu. Electronic copies can be found through the Coaly Society’s announcement in AgSci Student News.

The application deadline is Thursday, April 24th at 3 p.m.
