Chesapeake Bay Issues and Careers Panel Discussion

Posted: March 17, 2014

It’s time to think about your future. What will you do when you leave Penn State? On Thursday, March 20, there will be an open panel discussion among professionals from government, non-profits, and private firms, to talk about careers paths for graduates with an interest in addressing the complex issues surrounding Chesapeake Bay restoration.

The panel of professionals will discuss issues and careers, which search for solutions to address complex environmental problems. Hear how paths of others led them to careers in finding solutions to these problems, and learn what you can do with your degree, experience, and knowledge, gained at Penn State.

Event details:

  • 5:30 p.m. Welcome reception, Atrium of Forest Resources Building
  • 6:00-8:00 p.m. Panel Discussion in room 112 Forest Resources Building

Then, on Friday March 21, students will have an opportunity to participate in a workshop on Interviewing Skills, Resume Writing, and Networking Skills. The link to register for one or all of these workshops can be found on the Chesapeake Bay Issues and Careers website.
