This Wednesday April 3rd at 7:45 p.m. Sustainable Ag Club will be hosting a screening of the documentary American Meat. It is an educational documentary that examines American chicken, hog, and cattle production from a diverse array of farmers' perspectives (film trailer available via the above link). The film delves deeply into some of the most critical problems related to our food system, and looks at how farmers are experiencing and dealing with the situation. It is a call for further dialogue as well as action.

After the documentary, there will be a 4 person panel talking about the possible actions that we and the industry can take to make the future more sustainable. The panel includes the Director of the film Graham Merriweather.

Again, the screening is at 101 Thomas on Wednesday April 3rd at 7:45. The screening is free and open to the public.
