Food Check-Out Week: Food Drive for a Great Cause!

Posted: February 7, 2013

The Collegiate Farm Bureau and the Collegiate Cattle Women have placed food collection boxes located in the Ag buildings here on Ag Hill. The donated food placed in the boxes will be collected on February 15th and then donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities in Danville, PA.

The Collegiate Farm Bureau and the Collegiate Cattle Women have partnered together to participate in Food Check-Out Week which is a food drive held every year by Pennsylvania Farm Bureau. Food donations will be collected in the food collection boxes that are located in the lobbies of the buildings on Ag Hill and will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities in Danville, PA. This is a great cause because the food stays local and helps those in need as they stay at the Ronald McDonald House while they have loved ones in the Geisinger Hospital. The food will be collected throughout the week as the boxes fill up. The last day for donations will be on February 15th. We look forward to lots of full boxes to help those in need!  If you have questions contact Billy Saylor
