Educating the next generation of innovators, empowering entrepreneurial experiences, and transforming ventures into commercial application.

With substantial support from the Office of Research and Graduate Education, the College of Agricultural Sciences has committed to building a new generation of entrepreneurs and innovators within the faculty and students. From a research standpoint, this has included the development of the RAIN grants program, which offers competitive funds for college researchers to take their ideas and translate them to the marketplace, and a concerted effort at bringing researchers and industry together to create and maintain sponsored-research partnerships.
