Working Committees

Working Committees get the work of the museum accomplished. The following is an ever-changing list of working committees associated with the Pasto Agricultural Museum.

Working Committees are formed around primary areas of concern for the museum -- Facility & Operations, Collections & Exhibits, Programming & Education,  Finances & Fundraising, Marketing & Web, and when special projects and opportunities present themselves. Some Committees are standing in nature, others disbanded once their usefulness has been served. By-laws and policy governing these working Committees and Volunteer activities can be found at https://agsci.psu.edu/pasto/volunteers/volunteer-council-by-laws.

Working Committee Chairs are Volunteers of the Pasto Agricultural Museum and serve at the request and pleasure of the Dean of the College of Agricultural Sciences. They meet with the Museum Curator on a quarterly basis to report on progress and discuss issues and priorities for the museum. This Volunteer Council Meeting is open to the public and will meet in September, December, March and June. Check the museum Events listing for specific dates and times at http://agsci.psu.edu/pasto/events.

Volunteers are encouraged to submit an application to participate in the discussion and work of the museum. Visit http://agsci.psu.edu/pasto/volunteers/volunteer-application-form to apply.
