Annual PA Agronomic Education Conference - Register Today!
Registrations are now being accepted for the 2015 Pennsylvania Agronomic Education Conference, January 22-23, 2015 at the Penn Stater Conference Center in State College. A reminder, the schedule this year is a Thursday/Friday. The conference will begin with registration at 8 a.m. on Thursday, January 22 and conclude by 2 p.m. on Friday, January 23.
The Conference Planning Committee and PAES Board are excited to be providing two days of sessions presented by speakers from within Pennsylvania as well as out-of-state agronomic specialists with a range of management and production expertise addressing all areas of agronomic practices including crop, pest, and nutrient management as well as soil and water conservation. Specific subjects to be covered include: Ag Economic Outlook; Palmer Amaranth and Waterhemp; Fertilizer Outlook and Management; Precision Agriculture and Data Collection; Utilizing Unmanned Arial Vehicles; Cover Crops; Herbicide Adjuvants; Crop Modeling; Weather Outlook; and Pasture Management. In addition to continuing education the meeting will provide productive networking opportunities and socializing, which always proves to be an enjoyable part of this meeting’s tradition!
Continuing Education/Certification credits will be available for the Certified Crop Adviser, Pennsylvania Nutrient Management and Pennsylvania Pesticide programs.
