GROWMARK gift to support student programs

The College of Agricultural Sciences this week received a $5,000 gift from the Glenn Webb Educational Fund/The GROWMARK Foundation to support student enrichment/enhancement opportunities.

GROWMARK also is a frequent contributor to student scholarships in the college.

"We are grateful to the Glenn Webb Educational Fund and The GROWMARK Foundation for their continued interest and investment in the development of our outstanding students and our leading undergraduate educational programs," said Marcos Fernandez, associate dean for undergraduate education. "We plan to use these funds to further enhance student educational and professional development opportunities within the coming year."

Based in Bloomington, Ill., GROWMARK is a regional cooperative providing agriculture-related products and services and grain marketing in the Midwest and Ontario, Canada. FS brand farm supplies and related services are also marketed to farmers in the northeastern United States and by GROWMARK subsidiaries.
