Adams County educator receives 2010 Buckstopper Award

Judy Chambers, economic and community development educator with Penn State Cooperative Extension in Adams County, is the recipient of the Buckstopper Award for her leadership of the new "Local Governance" flagship extension program.

The Buckstopper award is the program area’s highest award and is presented annually to an ECD educator, faculty or staff person who provides significant leadership in developing a program that addresses an issue of concern.

The award was presented at the recent annual Economic and Community Development retreat.
