Configure Your iPhone or iPad to use Ag Exchange Mail

Apple iPhone and iPad owners have the ability to quickly and easily configure your iPhone or iPad to access your e-mail, calendar and contacts on the College of Ag Science’s Exchange server. These steps are based upon iOS version 11.x, but can be used as a general guide of other versions of the software as well.

How To Configure Your iPhone or iPad

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings
  2. Tap Accounts & Passwords
  3. Tap Add Account
  4. Tap Exchange
  5. In the E-mail section enter your address in the format of
  6. Leave the description as Exchange
  7. Click Next at the top of the window
  8. If a window offers to sign in using Microsoft, choose instead to configure manually
  9. Enter your Ag password in the password field
  10. Tap Next.
  11. Enter the Server address:
  12. In the Domain field enter  ag
  13. In the username section enter your user ID, such as abc123
  14. The password field should be filled in for you
  15. Tap Next.
  16. By Default, Mail is ON. If you want to also sync your Exchange calendar or your Exchange Contacts, tap to turn those options on.
    ***Note: Adding your Exchange Calendar or Contacts will cause existing calendars and/or Contacts to be deleted.
  17. Tap Save
  18. Click back to the home screen and tap Mail
  19. Read mail!


By default the iPhone will sync one month of email.  You can adjust this by going to Settings, then Accounts, then tap your Exchange account, tap Mail Days to Sync and make your selection from the options provided. On the iPad, you may have additional options.
