Agricultural Animal Industry Studies in Switzerland!

Students will explore and compare animal and equine industries in the United States and Switzerland.

Tentative Dates for Travel Component: Switzerland May 8-18, 2017

Students will explore and compare animal and equine industries in the United States and Switzerland. Topics will include breeding, training, international trade issues, agricultural trade policy, animal welfare, animal health and research, marketing, equestrian event and farm management, and companion animal breeding and training.

Estimated Cost

$3000.00 plus cost of 0.5 credits during May semester (Includes lodging, ground transportation in Europe, and several breakfasts and estimated airfare).

Eligibility

Penn State students, any major in good standing, with sophomore status and above, having earned a 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and are at least 18 years of age.
