Separation & Transfer Protocol

Please review Policy HR102 Separation and Transfer Protocol

The intent of the policy is to ensure that all University property is retrieved and that access to University facilities and systems is appropriately restricted at the time of the separation or transfer of a covered individual. Whenever possible, supervisors/University contacts and covered individuals will work together in a collaborative effort to ensure a smooth transition in the event of a separation or transfer. However, supervisors/University contacts bear ultimate responsibility for ensuring compliance with this policy.

The termination checklist, contained in the policy, must be completed by the supervisor/University contact or his/her designee at the time of all separations or transfers and returned to the area Human Resources Representative for proper retention. Please submit the termination checklists via email to AgHROffice@ag.psu.edu or via campus mail to 307 Ag Administration Building, University Park, PA 16802.
