  • Jan 2 - New Year's Day
  • May 29 - Memorial Day
  • Jul 4 - Independence Day
  • Sep 4 - Labor Day
  • Nov 23 - Thanksgiving
  • Nov 24 - Campus Closure (NOT a holiday*)
  • Dec 22, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and Jan 1 - Winter Break

*The day after Thanksgiving is a Campus Closure day. Please note that this day is not a holiday and should be designated as “Campus Closure” on attendance records for those employees who normally work on Fridays.

If you are in a 100% FTE position, each holiday established by the University is intended to give you eight hours of paid time-off. If you are in less than a 100% FTE position, please refer to HR 88 to learn how to calculate your holiday time.

Part-time employees who obtained earned time eligibility under former policy HR05 prior to Dec. 31, 2014, are only eligible for holiday pay on days normally scheduled to work which fall on established University holidays.

Employees represented by a union will locate their holiday provisions in their respective Collective Bargaining Agreements.
