Leadership Development
The minor in Leadership Development is based on a broad cross-disciplinary philosophy of leadership.
The goal of the minor is to expand students' knowledge, skills, and understanding of specific leadership theories, concepts, models, and current leadership issues in applied settings.
It is intended for students interested in a cross-disciplinary approach to gathering, interpreting, and applying knowledge about leaders and leadership practices. This minor teaches students the skills necessary to excel as leaders in their professions and help others accomplish their goals.
Students must complete 18 or more credits related to the study of leadership, three of which must be an internship experience.
A course grade of C or better must be earned in each graded course. This minor is open to all students wanting to supplement their academic major.
Requirements
The following four courses are required of all students completing this minor (12 credits):

Procedures for Enrollment
Students may apply for admission to the Leadership Development minor by downloading and submitting an application for Entrance to Minor . Approval of the student's major program advisor is also required.
