Baccalaureate Degrees
Where can your education take you? It’s your time to develop an alternative energy source, discover a new plant, cure cancer, solve world hunger problems, and deal with global warming.

Ag Sciences students conduct research projects, publish their findings, and compete locally, regionally, nationally and sometimes internationally. Research options may include both lab and fieldwork and include topics such as biotechnology, geographic information systems (GIS), and wildlife ecology.
Penn State offers the only public comprehensive educational program in agricultural sciences in Pennsylvania. You can choose from 19 majors in the following areas of interest:

In addition, if you qualify for the Schreyer Honors College , you can take honors courses or add honors options like in-depth writing projects into your regular courses. You also may conduct independent research that culminates in an honors thesis.
