Tim Kelsey, Ph.D.

Professor of Agricultural Economics, Penn State University

Dr. Kelsey conducts research on issues such as economic and community implications of Marcellus Shale, public finance and taxation, and land use change.  Through Penn State Cooperative Extension, he teaches workshops statewide to local government officials, citizens, and others interested in community issues.   He has been at Penn State since 1991, and began actively working on Marcellus issues in 2008.
