Water Quality
The overarching goal of the Nutrient Initiative is to more fully engage the College of Agricultural Sciences and Penn State in research, education, and outreach to address water quality problems related to nutrients in Pennsylvania and beyond. We envision the initiative as an innovative partnership between Penn State, the state legislature, state and federal agencies, communities, industry, environmental organizations in which Penn State’s role is to provide research, and education, and to facilitate stakeholder engagement essential to crafting successful strategies.
