Brenda Williams Recognized By CCAP 21st Century Best Practices Award

(State College, PA) --The County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania (CCAP) recently bestowed honors upon several Pennsylvania county jails, juvenile detention centers and alternative programs along with leaders who oversee their operations during an award ceremony at the Nittany Lion Inn on June 15, 2015. The awards are presented to county jails, juvenile detention centers and alternative programs that have implemented best practices and exemplary programming. CCAP also presented its Partner Award.

CCAP presented its Partners award to Brenda J. Brown Williams for her work on the Community Bridge project. She was recognized for her work with with the youth in Chester County targeting populations entering and returning to the work force as well as those in entry level job placements. She implemented the Skills for Taking Control of your Future program, which teaches job readiness enhanced by supportive workshops.
