Kristen Saacke Blunk

Kristen Saacke Blunk is a senior extension associate and director of the Penn State Agriculture and Environment Center (AEC).  She also serves as Extension’s state program leader for natural resources. The AEC, an initiative of the College of Agricultural Sciences, Environment and Natural Resources Institute, and Cooperative Extension, seeks to connect science, policy, and partnerships to solve problems and resolve issues to improve the balance of agriculture with the environment.  Her primary focus has been partnership-led water resource and watershed management within the public-, private-, and NGO sectors.  Prior to joining Penn State and serving local conservation and watershed initiatives (Spring Creek and Penns Creek), she was the environmental assistance manager for Tennessee’s Pollution Prevention and Environmental Awareness program.
