As an undergraduate and graduate student, Diane had a work-study job in the Horticulture Department at Penn State.  Her direct supervisor was Dr. Pete Ferretti, then the Vegetable Extension Specialist for Pennsylvania. During her time at Penn State, one of her primary responsibilities was to assist Dr. Ferretti with the annual vegetable trials. Following graduation, she worked in government and non-government positions as an analyst, contract administrator and manager.

Diane returned to horticulture and farming as the Education Director at Pennypack Farm & Education Center, a 360-member CSA in Horsham, PA. As the Director, she continues to coordinate a Summer Intern Program as well as an Apprentice Program for those interested in learning how to grow vegetables using organic and sustainable practices.

Diane is delighted to be once again working with the PSU Extension Service.
